Republic of China gold Dollar ND (1916), Kann-1560, L&M-1114, MS62 NGC. Ex. Wa She Wong Collection. Struck for the inauguration of Hung-hsien and rendered in desirable gold format with full sharpness of the details and an attractive flying dragon motif on the reverse. Light hairlines in the fields as well as small pinscratch near the rim at 4 o'clock on the reverse define the grade, but are limited visual consequence. A rare format for this type and one that is avidly pursued at all grade levels.
